You will be transferred from Gondar airport to your hotel on arrival.
After lunch, begin visiting Gondar, founded in 1636 by Emperor Fasiladas. Discover the complex of medieval castles and ruins in the Royal Enclosure, a testament to the majesty of the Ethiopian Empire. Afterward, visit the peaceful Bathing Pool of Emperor Fasilidas. Then explore the famous church of Debre Berhan Selassie, one of the finest in Ethiopia with walls and ceilings covered with stunning murals of angels.

Start your day by driving 180 kilometers to Bahir Dar, an ancient Ethiopian capital. After having lunch, spend the afternoon visiting the village of Tis Isat, where you can see the Blue Nile Falls. Please note that the construction of a new dam may result in reduced water volume during your visit.
In the morning, you will embark on a boat excursion on Lake Tana to explore the hidden Ethiopian Orthodox monasteries nestled on the islands and shores of this sacred lake. Lake Tana is renowned as the largest lake in Ethiopia and serves as the source of the renowned Blue Nile River. During the tour, you will have the opportunity to visit the monasteries of Ura Kidane Miheret and Azwa Maryam, situated on the Zege Peninsula, following a brief walk. These monasteries are celebrated for their exquisite mural paintings and ancient religious manuscripts.
