Itinerary
Drive 128km to Turmi town to visit the Hamar tribe. You will see a tribal market on the way if it is a market day (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday). In the late afternoon, around 11:00 pm, you will visit a remote Hamar village and get authentic experience with the Hamar people.
Overnight: Buska Lodge
Depart at 8:30 am to Karo Korcho village and meet the Kara people that reside by the Omo River. You will have a genuine interaction with the Karo people and drive back to Turmi for lunch. You will visit a tribal market (on a market day) and the Bull Jumping Ceremony (optional), then continue to Jinka.
Overnight: Eco-Omo lodge
Drive 50 km one way to meet with the Mursi people and return back to Jinka. You will be dropped off at Jinka Airport to fly back to Addis Ababa.
