The founder Minalu Adem was born and raised in Jinka, a local from the heart of Omo Valley. Jinka is the capital city/town of the South Omo Zone where over 16 distinct ethnic groups are administrated by the SNNPR regional government.
Minalu has been in the industry since 2005 and celebrated his 15 years of experience in 2020 for guiding and organizing tours in Ethiopia mostly in the south. He is the pioneer author in South Omo and the first to publish a book about Omo Valley tribes “A Guide to The Tribes, Omo Valley, and Southern Ethiopia”.
